Dates: Evening of October 13, 2026 through mid-day October 16, 2026
The 10th annual CAAVCon conference will be held as an in-person event; however, there will be a virtual option provided for those unable to attend in person. While presentations related to the annual theme are encouraged, but conference participation and involvement on any XR-related topic is welcome. The conference will also continue to focus on applications of 3D visualization and immersive display technologies, ranging from consumer off-the-shelf head mounted displays to CAVEs and tiled display systems.
The theme of the 10th Annual CAAV Conference is Training the Future: XR and the Workforce. This theme reflects the work already underway on our campus from the XR Jags team's hands-on development of real-world applications. It speaks directly to THE CAAV's mission of advancing visualization in higher education and invites the broader CAAVCon community to explore how XR is reshaping the way we train, educate, and prepare the workforce of tomorrow. Discussion panels, keynotes, and showcase sessions can be shaped around this theme, with Southern University well-positioned to bring both the research and the real world proof to the table.
